Teachers
Edward Anderson is Liz's brother so naturally is her first recommendation. An excellent teacher with a holistic approach to teaching as he has a broad training in the arts. Edward emphasizes the benefits of relaxation and a natural approach to access the best of what each individual person has to offer.

Viktoriya Wilton was born in Ukraine and started dancing at the age of five, inspired by her father’s love of this beautiful sport. She took part in her first competition aged seven and went on to achieve a top 10 in the National rankings. It has always been her dream to teach dance and share her passion with others.

Andrew Cuerden from the inspiration of Dirty Dancing in 1986, to performing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2005, Andrew has worked tirelessly to become a championship dancer. He is qualified Ballroom and Latin teacher with the IDTA.

Venues for dancing

* The Rivoli Ballroom, Brockley, just has to be seen. It is a grade II, listed, 1950s building, and it is fantastic. The venue has a great atmosphere, they hold a couple of monthly events that are a lot of fun: Jive Party and Jacky's Jukebox.

* The 100 Club, Oxford Street. Such a cool venue with live swing music.

* Bar Salsa, Charing Cross Rd. Good music, has a restaurant also so a pretty good night out.

* The Hideaway, Streatham. Love this place!! Really great live music, the food is lush.

* Au Salon de Danse, Paris. This is a beautiful studio that hosts dance parties and balls. Its not so far on the Eurostar.

* The Waldorf Hilton, Covent Garden. Regular Tea Dances and Tango Suppers in the opulent surroundings of its historic Palm Court. If you want timeless glamour, look no further.

* Madame JoJos, Soho. There is a lot going on at this place. Would recommend Saturday nights: Lost & Found. A rockin’ selection of Jump Blues, Rockabilly and  Northern Soul.

* Dover Street, Mayfair. Live music venue.

* Island Pacific, Kennington. On the 3rd Sunday of the month - Hula Boogie, Jive and Hula Classes with DJ.
